From Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD): Distance to the Husa Suites Mirador is 5 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Frequent underground metro services (located in Terminal 2) connect the airport with Madrid city centre. A single ticket costs 1.75 EUR. The nearest station to the hotel is Pinar de Chamartin. An airport bus also leaves the airport every 10 minutes for the Plaza de Colon terminal in the centre of Madrid. Tickets cost 2.40 EUR. Taxis are available outside the terminals and typically cost 30 EUR to the city centre (including an airport surcharge). All prices are subject to change.
Getting around. The squares and narrow streets in central Madrid are best explored on foot. An extensive public bus and metro system offers a cheap and efficient way to get around the city. Single tickets can be bought from bus drivers or machines. A 10 trip Metrobus ticket, costing 6.40 EUR, is ideal for making multiple journeys. Taxis can be hailed on the street and are reasonably priced. Price is subject to change.
