From Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD): Distance to AC Alcala de Henares is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The hotel offers a free shuttle service from the airport, availability should be checked in advance. A journey by taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 35 EUR. Trains run every 10 minutes from Madrid's central railway station to Alcala de Henares. The journey takes 45 minutes and costs 4.50 EUR. A regular underground metro service runs from the airport to central Madrid. The station is located in Terminal Two and is on line 8 (pink). The single fare is 1.75 EUR. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. The historic centre is best explored by foot. An efficient public transport system offers a convenient way to get around the city. Single tickets can be bought from bus drivers or machines.
